Just over 56 years ago, the Senior Class at Unaka High School boarded a new Trailways bus heading to Washington DC for their senior trip. They all had visions of our government in their heads but most of all it was a time to be together and share this great opportunity. At this point in their lives they just did not know where or what we would be doing. Our country was engaged in a messy war in Southeast Asia. Many of them would not be alive the next year.
