To the Editor:
We need a vaccine against the virus, also against the sins and lies of Satan. We ask if America will ever be the same again, if that means continuing into a Godless society that has changed our values and culture to a culture that ignores and replaces God’s standards.
We need to understand and accept there is a real Satan. We are told how he operates. I am not the judge. God has this authority. However, we are to stand on God’s Word. To be Biblically correct, not politically correct. It seems some of our high officials have replaced God with whatever their group wants. Changing God’s words to justify their decisions.
In John 16:33, Jesus said: “In me you have peace, in the world ye shall have tribulation.” We are told in II Corinthians 4:18 that the troubles will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever. Revival begins with awareness of sin leading to repentance. Unless that happens then a return to the normal will push this nation and its people further to disaster.
We may die from the virus, or we may die from cancer or a number of other things. It doesn’t really matter how we die. All that matters is if we have turned from sin and trusted our souls to the Savior. In Romans 10:9 we are told: “If you have confessed with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved.”
The virus makes no distinction between the Republicans, Democrats, or Independents. There are only two categories with God — the Godly and the ungodly, the just and the unjust. Let us be eternally grateful for the Savior who took our sins on Himself, paid our penalty, imputes His Spirit within us, and gives us the peace that passeth all our understanding. It is called new birth, being born again. True repentance is turning to the one who is our true hope, the Lord Jesus Christ.
