One of the greatest resources that we are blessed to have in Carter County is our fisheries.
With that being said, Elizabethton Star Sports is excited to showcase some of the great catches and our fishermen who are having great success on local small streams, rivers, and Watauga Lake.
A little discouraging news this week came from a fisherman that had some of his rods stolen from a boat near Mountain City so all fishermen are asked to keep an eye out for four Tennessee handle rods that could be on the market.
Aside from that, the waters are full of fish just waiting for the right bait to be put out before them. Get out and enjoy the area waterways this week.
