To the Editor:
Jesus warned in Matthew 24, “take heed that no man deceive you.” Paul also talking about the last days says, “evil men and seducers (deceivers) shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.”(2 Timothy 3:13) The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3, in the last days there would be more evil “false accusers.” So it’s more important than ever to do as the Bible in 1 Thessalonians says, “Test (prove) all things; hold fast that which is good.”
Jussie Smollett, a gay, black entertainer, falsely accused racist Trump supporters of attacking him. It was proved to be a hoax and he had attacked himself. Six years ago in Ferguson, Mo., a policeman was falsely accused of shooting Michael Brown with his hands up saying, “Hands up. Don’t shoot.” Riots spread because of the lie. According to Larry Elder for www.prageru.com the federal report concluded, “Witnesses who originally stated Brown had his hands up in surrender recanted their original accounts, admitting they didn’t witness the shooting or parts of it. Investigators concluded Brown never uttered the iconic phrase, “Hands up. Don’t Shoot.” A local grand jury investigation and a federal investigation both concluded that Officer Wilson was justified in his use of force. The local grand jury and federal investigation supervised by Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder reached the same conclusion: Police Officer Wilson did nothing wrong and there was no basis on which to charge him with any wrongdoing.
Joe Biden said, “Trump is America’s first racist president.” I agree with Pastor Shane Idleman that there’s no evidence that President Trump is a racist. When Trump was a Democrat and gave money to Democrats no one called Trump a racist. Trump financed eye surgeries for poor black Haitians. Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King Jr., said “President Trump is not racist.” Alveda King called Trump, “compassionate” and a “brilliant man.” Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson, who is black, said Trump’s policies are proof he isn’t a racist. President Trump shouldn’t be falsely accused of racism.
Even Jesus was recently falsely accused by homosexual CNN host Don Lemon. Lemon said, Jesus Christ was “not perfect when He was here” and Chris Cuomo nods in agreement. The moral perfection of Jesus is clear in Bible passages like 2 Corinthians 5:21 and Hebrews 7:26. Most media like CNN hate Jesus. Black NFL football player Ben Watson was asked by CNN to speak on Ferguson racial problems. Watson said, “Ultimately the problem is not a skin problem, it is a sin problem.” When Watson said, “Jesus died for our sin,” his mic went dead. Watson is correct. Christians who have been changed by Jesus have done the most to end racism. In these end days there’s more lies and false accusers than ever before. Don’t trust your feelings or the media. There’s only one place to find the truth and nothing but the truth and that’s the Bible. Call 1-888-need-him. There’s only one kind of news that’s completely believable and always true and it’s the good news of Jesus. Jesus is true news!
Jesus is perfect and this is a good description of Jesus. S.M. Lockridge said, “He’s enduringly strong. He’s entirely sincere. He’s eternally steadfast. He’s immortally graceful. He’s imperially powerful. He’s impartially merciful. That’s my King. He’s God’s Son. He’s the sinner’s savior. He’s the centerpiece of civilization. He stands alone in Himself. He’s honest. He’s unique. He’s unparalleled. He’s unprecedented. He’s supreme. He’s pre-eminent. He’s the grandest idea in literature. He’s the highest personality in philosophy. He’s the supreme problem in higher criticism. He’s the fundamental doctrine of historic theology. He’s the carnal necessity of spiritual religion. That’s my King!”
