RM Calvary Baptist
Evangelist Cody Shew will preach at a revival August 10-12 at Calvary Baptist Church, located on Cove Creek Road above Roan Mountain State Park.
Services will begin each evening at 7 o’clock.
The public is invited.

First Christian
There will be one worship service Sunday at First Christian Church, Elizabethton. The service at 9:45 a.m. will include classes for children. Also, the congregation will continue to follow green and red social distancing seating. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available at the welcome center table.
Services are also available on the church Facebook page and are sent out in an email to the congregation. The church is looking forward to having a live broadcast of its services soon, available on a local FM station.
There will be curbside communion for those that don’t feel comfortable leaving their vehicles. Communion will be served from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. outside the welcome center doors.

First Presbyterian
Online worship will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton. Sunday’s service will continue a three-weeks series on how the church has dealt with pandemics throughout history. The worship services will be shared with Norcross Presbyterian Church, Norcross, Ga., and Fondren Presbyterian Church, Jackson, Miss., with a different preacher each week.
This Sunday, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, pastor of Elizabethton First Presbyterian, will have a sermon on the Black Plague and Ex. 12: 29-36.
Young and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays with Jesus will all meet online this week.
All in-person events are presently canceled.
Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have an in-car service Sunday at 10 a.m.
Minister Brett Jones will preach.
Everyone is asked to follow social distancing guidelines and remain in your car.
