Roger and Brenda Gail Berry announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Wendy Michelle Berry, to Joseph “Joey” Arie Fields.
Wendy is the granddaughter of Erma Burgess of Hampton and the late Curley Burgess, and Mary Alice and Claude Crumley of Elizabethton, and the late Rev. Ira Berry.
Wendy is a graduate of Elizabethton High School and East Tennessee State University. She is employed by the State of Tennessee.
Her fiancé is the son of Nancy Fields of Kingsport and the late Newton Fields.
Joey is a graduate of Sullivan South High School and King University. He is employed by Ballad Health.
The couple will be married at First Baptist Church of Elizabethton on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at 4 p.m.
