Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have an in-car service Sunday with Matt Wood presenting the message.
The service will be held in the fellowship hall parking lot, beginning at 10 a.m.
Everyone is urged to stay in their car.
Cove Creek
Mike Upright will present special singing Sunday at the 10 a.m. service at Cove Creek Community Church.
He will be singing Sunday at 6 p.m. at the By Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Johnson City.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have an on-line worship service Sunday at 11 a.m.
Amber Athon will deliver a sermon based on Matt. 18: 21-35.
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation and Thursdays with Jesus will meet online this week.
All in-person events remain canceled until further notice.
First Christian
First Christian Church is currently making three types of services available due to the coronavirus. An in-person worship service with social distancing in the church sanctuary is available at 9:45 a.m. Sunday.
Also, a live radio worship service is also available at 9:45 a.m. for those who want to participate in worship, but stay in their cars. Those attending this type of service are asked to park in the parking lot next to the Elizabethton Police Dept. on F Street and tune to 90.5 FM.
An HD quality online service via the church Facebook page is available on Sunday evening. If you would like a link to watch the service, call the church office (542-5651) and it will be sent to you e-mail.
Also, the church staff requests prayer for a Police Praise and Prayer Service at 6 p.m. Oct. 4. The service is in partnership with Phillippi Missionary Baptist Church.
Michael Klaus is minister at First Christian.
CCCMF Meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Blue Springs Christian Church for its monthly session.
Mike Luzadder, campus minister at ETSU’s Christian Student Fellowship, will be the guest speaker.
All men are invited.
First Free Will
Greg Patten, host of Hello World Radio, who now pastors an Indiana church, will be guest speaker at the 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. worship services Sunday at First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
Patton, a former news anchorman for one of the most watched news affiliates, presents the news from a conservative Christian point of view.
The Rev. Nathan Jennings, pastor, invites the public to attend.
Lynn Valley
The AWANA Club is starting back up at Lynn Valley Baptist Church after taking a break due to the coronavirus. A drive-through registration will be held Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
Classes will begin the following Wednesday, Sept. 23, and will be held at the church from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
All children ages three through sixth grade are invited to be a part of the group.
