Tennessee Football Prep Polls

BY THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

The Elizabethton Cyclones maintained their top ranking in Class 4A this week thanks to running their winning streak to 18 games thanks to a blocked field goal in the waning seconds by Parker Hughes to slip past a determined Daniel Boone team in Gray.

Elizabethton goes on the road this week at Grainger County looking to make it 19 straight in a region matchup.

Hampton, meanwhile, is getting closer to a state ranking after coming up just four points shy of breaking the Top 10. South Greene also received points this week in the poll.

Two other teams made the grade in Class 6A as Dobyns-Bennett moved from fifth to third this week and Science Hill cracked the rankings coming in at number ten after a big win over Greeneville.
