It has been a crazy football season as many fans have not had the opportunity to support their teams with tickets only being sold to parents of players, band, cheerleaders, and chorus for home Elizabethton football games.
However, that won’t be the case on the road this Thursday at Sullivan South as South has reached out to the Cyclone Touchdown Club notifying the Cyclone support organization that South will be selling tickets this week from their ticket office at the main entrance if anyone needs tickets for anyone who wants to come.
With many wanting to take in a Cyclone game, this offers a prime opportunity to get a Cyclone fix for those who have had to watch from afar on television and paying for a subscription to view games.
This game will be one of historic nature as the game will be one of the last games between the South Rebels and Elizabethton as South, Central, and North will be combining into one large school next year.
It is all a big opportunity for the Elizabethton Cyclones who with a win will collect an outright conference championship and extend their win streak to 24 if the Cyclones are successful.
This past Friday, the Cyclones took down the Greeneville Greene Devils in convincing fashion 44-10 with many Cyclone fans making the trip to the school during the week to purchase tickets from Greeneville resulting in a large turnout of orange in black in the stands at Burley Stadium.
The Touchdown Club is encouraging a large turnout in orange to bring the energy for the game to Death Valley. While many games are on Friday, with this contest being on Thursday, there could be a large turnout to watch the contest.
Fans are once again encouraged to deck out in orange and bring cowbells to ring in support of the Cyclones.
Game time will be 7:30 pm.
