COVID-19 information line in the Northeast Region transitions

JOHNSON CITY – The Northeast Regional Health Office serving Carter, Greene,
Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Unicoi and Washington Counties announces the transition of
the Regional COVID Information Line to the Public COVID Hotline at 1-877-857-2945.
The Public COVID Hotline is available Monday through Friday, between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m.
eastern time.
This transition will take place starting Monday, November 9.
Residents of the rural public health region may also call their Tennessee Department of
Health local health departments during business hours with COVID-related questions,
Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM, beginning November 9, 2020:

Providers who need to report positive COVID-19 cases are instructed to send the test
results to NER.COVIDlabs@tn.gov. There is no need to make a telephone call or to fax
results as a result of this transition.
