Boy Scouts collect food
Boy Scouts of America here in Elizabethton, Troop and Pack 516, assisted Assistance and Resources Ministry (ARM) by gathering food from the community in collection boxes at various businesses. J’s Korner, Carter County Bank, Ingle’s, Southern Restaurant, Big John’s, Tractor Supply, and First Baptist Church helped by providing space for collection boxes. Scoutmaster Ricki Dykes and other leaders organized this drive at the suggestion of the troop members. ARM greatly appreciates the assistance and the food will be passed to the community.
