The Jr. Lady Cyclone JV squad came out to tip off the night against the Sevier Lady Warriors hoping to set the tone for the evening but found that the Lady Warriors weren’t in the mood to allow that to happen.

Traveling from Kingsport, the Lady Warriors applied a very tight full-court press on the Jr. Lady Cyclones that resulted in several turnovers keeping TAD from cutting into the lead and falling 35-19.

The first half was a little more friendly for the Jr. Lady Cyclones who actually scored 13 of their 19 total points in the first 12 minutes of play.

Adrian Heading paced the Jr. Lady Cyclones in the first half with six points while Abby Gwinn dropped in four points and Rylee May tallied three.

From that point, it was all Lady Warriors as TAD could only muster six points in the second half of the game as the same trio of girls who recorded points in the first half totaled two points each in the second half to account for the Jr. Lady Cyclones points.

Heading finished the contest with eight points to pace TAD while Gwinn finished with six points.

May closed out the scoring ledger with five points.
