Church at Jiggy Ray’s
Oak Street this Sunday evening at 6 p.m. will begin a ministry geared toward those who aren’t connected to a local congregation. The church service will be held at Jiggy Ray’s Downtown Pizzeria on the first and third Sundays of each month.
There will be live music, a brief time of teaching from the scriptures, and a time of discussion that focuses on that night’s teaching, and yes, there will be pizza.
Pastor Chris Shumate in announcing the service said, “We know that visiting church can be intimidating, and we hope this offers an opportunity for those who don’t feel comfortable attending one of our Sunday morning services. We also know there are others who cannot attend on Sunday mornings because of their work schedule, so this may be a good second option for them, too.”

New Liberty
New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church will continue its celebration of Christ’s birth with Kennedy Forelock, Joy Shoun, and Laura Coleman providing special Christmas music during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. A Christmas message will be presented by the pastor, the Rev. Nick Colbaugh.
The service will also be livestreamed at www.nlfwbchurch.com and via 93.3 FM radio for persons who wish to remain in their vehicles parked at the church.
Pastor Colbaugh invites everyone to share in the celebration of Christ’s birth during this Christmas season.
