Applebee’s in Elizabethton will host a COVID-safe drive-thru pancake breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 13, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tickets for this ARM fundraiser are $5 per person and are available from ARM board members or may be purchased on the day of the event. This is a great way to surprise the family with a pre-Valentine breakfast and you won’t have to leave the safety of your vehicle.
Assistance and Resources Ministry (ARM) is a local food pantry, which provides a monthly cart full of food to deserving Carter County families, as ARM partners with Second Harvest of Northeast TN and United Way of the East TN Highlands. During ARM’s pandemic plan, the food pantry at 714 West C St., operates on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. and 1:30 – 3:45 p.m. More information may be obtained by calling 423-542-0919.
