Imogene Crumley, 76, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord and her dear brother on Thursday, March 11, 2021, from Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Imogene was born in Elizabethton to the late Paul J. Crumley and Yvonne Vines Crumley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Crumley.
Imogene was a caring lady who loved her family and her nephews greatly. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Imogene, when her health permitted, enjoyed going to the flea market and garage sales.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sisters, Christine “Chris” Pippin and husband Larry of Elizabethton and Linda Hardin, and several nephews.
A graveside service to honor the life of Imogene Crumley will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Justin Deaton officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Saturday. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Signature Health and Rehab Center of Elizabethton for the loving care shown to Imogene during her illness. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in honor of Imogene Crumley.
