To the Editor:
On Sunday, March 14, 2021, daylight saving time begins and we spring forward and move our time ahead one hour. We are told it’s a great time to check our smoke detectors.
The Bible says to examine yourself and redeem the time in Ephesians 5. So it’s even more important to know where you are spending eternity and that you won’t be smoking, burning and suffering for eternity. It’s wise to plan ahead in this life but even wiser to prepare for eternity.
The Bible says in Proverbs 27 and James 4 to not boast about tomorrow. You haven’t been promised tomorrow. Yet many of us live our lives as if we have an eternity to do what is important. Over 3 million people die every year in America. The good news for everyone is Jesus died for our sins and you can go to heaven if you trust Jesus as your only way to heaven and believe in His death, burial and resurrection. Call 1-888-need-him. If you have pride and think your works can get you to heaven, you won’t be going to heaven. Humble yourself now and “seek the Lord Jesus while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near!”
If you failed to set your clocks ahead one hour then it is later than you think. It’s closer than most people think to the beginning of war and judgment and the tribulation. The good news for Christians is that Jesus is coming back very soon. God’s book, the Holy Bible, promises Jesus will return to take his faithful followers and children to live with Him in his glorious presence forever. (John 14:3) Everyone else will be left behind to suffer the most difficult times in history called the seven-year tribulation. Jesus gives us the imminent time for His return in Luke 21. Jesus tells us Israel would be scattered into all nations and Jerusalem would be under gentile control until the time of the gentiles be fulfilled.
Against all odds Israel became a nation May 1948 and retook Jerusalem in June 1967. Most Christians alive during the time Israel became a nation and retook Jerusalem are a chosen last generation and will see the rapture. Psalm 90:10 tells us a generation is between 70 and 80 years. If you add 80 to 1948 you get 2028 and subtract 7 years for a tribulation you get 2021. However Israel won’t be 81 until May 2022. So the tribulation will begin before May 2022 is past. See Christian website www.unsealed.org which explains the last generation and the book of Revelation clearer than any I’ve read. The last chapter in the Bible is 22 and the total letters in the Jewish alphabet is 22. If Jesus were to come today to take those who believe in him as their Savior to heaven in the rapture would you be included? Don’t be left behind! It’s written in 2 Peter 3, “there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lust and saying, where is the promise of his (Jesus) coming?” Are you watching for Jesus coming or are you a scoffer? The Bible says there’s a reward crown for those watching for the return of Jesus. Some scoffers who love this world say nothing changes and people have been saying Jesus is coming for 30 years. The Earth is seeing record weather chaos and strange events that smashes record after record. Texas had never seen such cold weather that cut their power off. Record earthquakes and volcanoes have occurred. Without being taught the first words of thousands of babies has been “Jesus is coming” or “the King is coming!” “Rapture coming very soon to a Christian loved one near you. Advance reservation required from Jesus for this once in a lifetime out of this world trip and make over!”
