Frank Head celebrated his 106th birthday March 19 with his daughter, Judy Reed, and the faculty and staff of the CLC at Mountain Home VA, Johnson City, where he is a resident.
His birthday celebration actually began on Wednesday with a birthday parade held on the grounds of the VA with many of the staff and employees parading with balloons, banners, and posters. Also, there was lots of enthusiasm, joy, and love on display.
Frank, a former Carter County Commission member, is from the Range Community. In addition to his daughter, Judy, and her husband, Clarence, he is grandfather to Danny (Nyoka) Reed and Clinton (Mary) Reed and great-grandfather to Austin (Lacee) Reed, Wendy (Ward) Tanner, and Lucas Reed. He also has a great-great-granddaughter, Baby Kate, daughter of Austin and Lacee.
