This month according to www.christianheadlines.com there have been many mocking God. California’s proposed ethnic studies curriculum calls for students to chant to the Aztec “gods” of human sacrifice and cannibalism. Rep. Jerry Nadler said, “God’s will is no concern of this Congress” during the anti-Christian Equality Act debate. Bethany Christian changes LGBT adoption policy and will now place children in same-sex homes.
Virginia Gov. Northam signs law permitting abortion coverage without limits. Biden’s COVID Bill has massive expansion of taxpayer funded abortion. Homosexual Pastor Robertson posted a video titled “Jesus a Racist” because Jesus called a woman a dog in Matthew 15. Robertson, who supports cancel culture, was the biggest mocker of God. Cancel culture lies and is arrogant, intolerant, closed minded, judgmental and mean-spirited. We have to do as 1 Thessalonians 5 says, “Prove (test) all things; hold fast that which is good.”
Robertson should read context first before making foolish inaccurate statements and twisting scripture. Jesus was talking about the woman’s religion not her race when calling her a dog. The Jews called Gentile unbelievers who are non-Jews dogs. Jesus said let the children (Jews) first be fed. God is a God of order. Jesus’ ministry on Earth was to Jews first. Jesus tested the women’s faith. Jesus wanted to see if the women had enough faith to press for her miracle. Jesus was the first to brake barriers with the Samaritans and women. As the song goes regardless of race, “Jesus loves the children of the world.” The cancel culture attack on Jesus contradicts their own words that only whites are racist because Jesus isn’t white. Jesus died for the sins of all people and Jesus said go and make disciples of all nations proving he loves all people. The Bible in 2 Timothy 3 says in the last days among other things there shall be false accusers. This is another sign we are in the last days and Jesus is coming soon!
Cancel culture is something you did or said in your past and will be used to silence, stop and “cancel” you. Cancel culture’s favorite thing is to label all white people racist. Cancel culture can’t stand the Bible and views that oppose them. Cancel culture says nothing against child pornography, human trafficking and killing babies through abortion. The cancel culture can see the speck in the eye of everyone they disagree with but can’t see the log in their own eyes. The cancel culture maximize attention and focus on others’ sin and minimize attention and focus on their own sin. The Bible focus is on self judgment and to first remove the log from your eye before trying to remove specks from others’ eyes. Jesus is the only one who is perfect and we all need Jesus.
The Bible says, “Be not deceived; God isn’t mocked for whatever a man sows, that shall he reap.” John Lennon of the Beatles said we are more famous then Jesus, and four years later he was shot six times. Marilyn Monroe told Billy Graham, “I don’t need your Jesus.” A week later she was found dead. Thomas Andrews, the Titanic shipbuilder, said, “Even God couldn’t sink the ship.” President Franklin Roosevelt was asked by a reporter “will you help Israel become a nation?” He said, “never.” The next day Roosevelt was dead and the new president Truman said he would help Israel. They may cancel books, people, toys, ideas, concepts, videos, articles and sermons, but they can never cancel Jesus and His word. the Bible!
