The offices of the City of Elizabethton will be closed Friday, April 2, for Good Friday.
Because of the closure, the garbage collection for the week will be altered. Monday through Thursday collections will be on schedule, with Thursday and Friday scheduled pickups being done on Thursday.
Also, offices at the Carter County Courthouse will be closed for the Good Friday observance.
Carter County schools will be closed Thursday, Friday, and Monday for the Good Friday and Easter holiday. Also, Elizabethton City Schools will be on spring break beginning this past Friday and continuing through April 5.
Tennessee state offices will be closed April 2 for Good Friday.
