First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will have a mountain sunrise service Easter Sunday at 8:30 a.m. “Our goal is for everyone to worship together at one service,” said a church spokesman.
The sunrise service will be held on the lawn at First Christian Church with all ages participating. The public is also invited.
Michael Klaus is minister.
Zion Baptist
Zion Baptist Church, 1982 Gap Creek Road, will have an Easter egg hunt Saturday at 1 p.m. for children up to age 12.
Easter Sunday, there will be a sunrise service at 6 a.m. Morning worship will be at 9 a.m. and at 11 a.m. There will be no evening service.

Grace Baptist
Grace Baptist Church will have a sunrise service Easter Sunday at 6:45 a.m. at the Wilbur Dam Visitor Overlook.
Sunday School is at 9 a.m. followed by a combined worship service at 10 a.m.
The Rev. Travis Todd is pastor.
Borderview Christian
A Good Friday service titled “The Cross Experience” will be held this evening at 7 p.m. at Borderview Christian Church, 1338 Bristol Highway.
The service will include instrumental music, scripture, and video clips. Instrumentalists will include Ryan Eggers, saxophone; Cyndie Leimbach, flute; and Scott Reynolds, piano.
Individuals in the church will read Scriptures of the cross with the service culminating with communion.
Social distancing, masks, and hand hygiene will be practiced at all times. The public is invited.

Carter Christian
Carter Christian Church, 1765 Highway 91, Stoney Creek, will have a community-wide Good Friday service at 7 p.m. today.

Bethlehem Lutheran
Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Johnson City, will have an Easter Sunrise Service Sunday at 7 a.m. at Happy Valley Memorial Park, 2708 Elizabethton Highway.
A Good Friday service will be held this evening at 7 p.m. at the church, 201 E. Watauga Ave. This service is for remembering the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
An Easter vigil will be held Saturday at 7 p.m.
Easter Sunday services will be at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

Valley Forge Free Will
An Easter Drive Thru will be held in the Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church parking lot this evening beginning at 7 p.m. and continuing until 9 p.m. There will be seven live scenes depicting the story leading up to the Crucifixion and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Roan Street Free Will
The Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will be back in house Sunday for Easter services.
Minister Brett Jones will present the message at the 11 a.m. service.
Those attending are asked to follow the CDC guidelines of wearing a mask and social distancing.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 W. F St., will have an online worship service Sunday at 11 a.m.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present the sermon “Easter On Earth” based on Isa. 65: 17-25 and Luke 24: 1-12.
At 6:45 p.m. the church will hold an in-person bell tolling and remembrance for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays with Jesus will meet online this week.
All in-person events remain canceled until further notice.
Redeemer Lutheran
An Easter service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Elizabethton, featuring Amy Vining, harpist.
