Eight-year-old Tessa Strickland has already accomplished more than some other hunters who have spent several years hunting as she bagged her second turkey as she shot the turkey on Saturday, March 27th.
Strickland is from Roan Mountain and is the daughter of Jason Strickland and Tashia Winters.
The gobbler checked in at 22 pounds with a length of 46 inches and a beard that measured nine inches. He had a one-inch spur.
