According to a press release received from the Carter County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies with the Carter County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a homicide that took place in the Milligan area.

At approximately 11:30 Sunday, investigators were called to 132 Bowman Road. Upon their arrival, they found a 63-year-old male victim, identified as Kevin Hathaway, shot to death inside of his residence.

Investigators say the shooting appears to have happened sometime after 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone who has information pertaining to this call 423-542-1849.
