Arcle Leah Combs Bowers, 71, Elizabethton, passed at the Johnson City Medical Center on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. She was born in Smith, Ky., to the late Roscoe and Frances Wilson Combs. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Maudie Gray.
Arcle was a homemaker and lived in Carter County most of her life. She attended Old Horseshoe Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Berlaskie Bowers; a son David (Emily) Francisco; a brother, Paul Combs; a sister, Alberta Combs; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Barbara Hilton.
The family is going to have a celebration of life on Monday, May 10, at 1 p.m. at the Old Horseshoe Free Will Baptist Church.
Memorial Funeral Chapel is serving the Bowers family.
