Health Department begins COVID-19 vaccinations for 12-15 year-olds

The Carter County Health Department begins vaccinating youth age 12-15 years on Friday, May 14 with a vaccine manufactured by Pfizer. Anyone age 12 and older are welcome to attend the drive-through vaccine event on May 14 between 1 pm and 3 pm at the Great Lakes Workforce Development Facility. The facility is located at 386 TN-91 in Elizabethton.
The Carter County Health Department also provides Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to people who walk in between 8:30 am-4:00 pm Monday-Friday.
No appointment is required and the vaccines are free. If it is more convenient, individuals may request appointments online through Vaccinate.tn.gov, or call the Northeast Regional COVID-19 Vaccine Registration Line at 423-979-4689 between 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday. When making an appointment, individuals under the age of 18 should select or request a Pfizer vaccine appointment time.
