The Jericho-Shiners annual paper drive is underway this weekend, so be charitable and cautious as you drive through intersections around Elizabethton so you don’t hit these good men, like Ray Birchfield, as they collect for their favorite charities.
It doesn’t take long to discover why people from all across the country are beginning to flock to this little area in Northeast Tennessee and plant new roots.
With car tags from New Jersey, California, Wyoming, Texas, and several of the 50 states beginning to fill driveways of homes for sale, this gem that we call home is being uncovered more quickly every day.
And the reason is very simple – it’s a great place to raise a family and feel welcomed just like family.
