Three Rivers Conference hands out softball 2021 accolades

Elizabethton placed Maddie O'Quinn, Ember Jensen, Cheyenne Poiroux, Maely Ingram, Kallista Deprimo, and Pitcher of the Year Madisun Pritchard on the team while Happy Valley saw Abby Holt and Olivia Absher honored.

The Three Rivers Conference announced their 2021 honors at the end of the Three Rivers Conference tournament.
Caroline Podvin of Unicoi County was named the Conference Player of the Year for the season. The Pitcher of the Year was presented to Madisun Pritchard of Elizabethton.
Coach Kenneth Hardin of Elizabethton was pegged as the Coach of the Year for leading his young but talented Lady Cyclones to the top of the Three Rivers Conference and the District title.
All-Conference players from Elizabethton included Maddie O’Quinn, Ember Jensen, Cheyenne Poiroux, Maely Ingram, and Kallista Deprimo. Lady Cyclones making the Honorable Mention team included Mollie Johnson and Emma O’Quinn.
Happy Valley’s Olivia Absher and Abby Holt were also selected to the All-Conference team with Maddie Lingerfelt being named to the Honorable Mention team.
Named to the All-Tournament team from Elizabethton were Mollie Johnson, Kenidy Harris, and Emma O’Quinn. Madisun Pritchard was named the tournament’s MVP.
Lingerfelt made the All-Tourney team from Happy Valley.
