To the Editor:
I want to express my gratitude and thanks for all of Keep Carter County Beautiful’s (KCCB) volunteers this past Saturday for their participation in our portion of a regional cleanup spearheaded by Alicia Phelps, Director of Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association. A special thanks to Monica Kiser, Communications Director of Keep Tennessee Beautiful and Alicia Phelps who came out in support of KCCB!  The hard work and long hot hours of our cleanup event of HWY 321 between Elizabethton and Johnson City paid off and netted 35 bags of litter/trash and assorted oversized items. 
It is volunteers like these that continue to make a difference for a cleaner and more beautiful community and environment.
Again, I want to express my sincere appreciation for a job well done!
