June First Friday Celebrations in Downtown Elizabethton

First Friday Celebrations continue in Downtown Elizabethton on June 4! The summer series celebrating art and community, hosted by Main Street Elizabethton, Elizabethton Arts & Cultural Alliance, and the City of Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department, kicked off in May and will continue until August.
June First Friday Celebrations will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue into the evening until 11:00 p.m. Activities are complementary to the community and open for all ages.
Spank!, an 80’s cover band, will play at Covered Bridge Stage from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m! This feature is brought to you by the City of Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department.
Featured activities include:
Klacie’s Candles & Boutique Ribbon Cutting at 10 a.m. (hosted by Elizabethton Chamber and Main Street Elizabethton)
Rainbow arts & activities in Downtown Breezeways from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. (hosted by ElizAlliance, CCDP, PEAK Mentorship, and Red Legacy Recovery)
Jonesborough Repertory Theatre hosts Princesses from Enchanted Experiences for photo opportunities from 6 pm – 8 pm at The Bonnie Kate Theater and a cast from The Sound of Music singing at 6:15 pm.
Carter County Omnium packet pick-up from 5 pm – 7 pm at Elizabethton Chamber.
Live art paintings at Simple Blessings General Store, GLOW Herbals, and Riverside Taphouse.
More than 20 downtown businesses will be open for extended shopping and dine-in experiences, as well as local food trucks!
