Jettie Lou Grindstaff, age 90, of Elizabethton, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at her residence.  Jettie was born in Elizabethton to the late Clayton and Dora Stout Grindstaff.  In addition to her parents, Jettie was also preceded in death by her husband, Glen Grindstaff; two sons, Randy Grindstaff and Ernest Grindstaff; two grandsons, Glen Charles Campbell and Harvey Dale Campbell; a step-grandson, Kip Roberts; and several brothers and sisters.

 Jettie retired as a seamstress at HPH Apparel and had also worked as a seamstress for Denise Lingerie. She was a member of Unaka Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting, canning, shopping and coloring in her many coloring books.

 Those left to cherish her wonderful memories include her daughter, Margie Roberts, of Elizabethton; four sons, Max Hubert Grindstaff, Graylon Grindstaff, Bobby Joe Grindstaff and Joshua Campbell, all of Elizabethton; two grandchildren, Tammy Campbell and Wendy Baker, both of Elizabethton; five great-grandchildren, Britney, Christopher, Skyler, Joseph and Austin; a special nephew, Carroll Grindstaff and wife Nancy, of Elizabethton; four step-grandchildren, Jama, Robin, Delbert and Erby; many step-great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Frances Taylor, of Elizabethton.  Several nieces and nephews as well as her special friends, Hope and Mickey Rambo, also survive.

 A service to celebrate the life of Jettie Lou Grindstaff will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 7, 2021, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Reverend Terry Richardson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, prior to the service on Monday or at the residence at other times.

 The graveside service will follow in the Ensor Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Joseph Campbell, Skyler Campbell, Austin Barbee, Austin Babb, Christopher Campbell, Jason Presnell, David Grindstaff, Ethan Nelson and Erby Roberts. 

 The family would like to express a special thank you to Ballad Health Hospice for the loving care given to Jettie during her illness.
