Bonnie Mae Forbes Porter, 94, Fall Branch formerly of Elizabethton, passed away June 13, 2021, in the Hillview Health Center after an extended illness.  She was born May 25, 1927, in Johnson City to the late Robert & Lovada Foster Forbes.  She loved to sing and loved to joke with people. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years: Richard Milton Porter who passed away January 3, 2013, by a daughter: Judy Ann Dean, five sisters and one brother.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law: Janice & Ronald Grimes, Fall Branch and Kathy and Jim Twardesky, Brunswick, Ohio.  A son and daughter-in-law: Donald & Nora Faye Wright, Akron, Ohio.  11 Grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  Several nieces & nephews.
 Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery (New Annex) with Pastor Jason Roddy officiating.  Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.  The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Hillview Health Center for the excellent care she received during her stay there. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at  1:45 p.m. Thursday. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
