Even with the temperatures heating up, the fishing at Watauga Lake hasn’t cooled down if the anglers can find the right combination of baits to throw into the cool waters of the lake.
Several reports of nice smallmouth being put in the boat have come recently along with reports of successful walleye trips being reported by Chip and Colton Chambers of C&C Outfitters.
Some really nice lakers have also been landed from the depths of the lake. Several large lunker largemouths have also been reeled in lately along with some nice catfish.
In today’s Fishin’ Hole, the Star wanted to share some photos of anglers who have had big days recently on the water.
