Boys & Girls Club to host first ever ‘Alumni Night’
“Once a Club Kid, always a Club Kid.”
That will be the theme for the first ever Alumni Night for those who have been part of the Boys and Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County during the past 68 years.
Think “family reunion.”
Set for July 10 at 6:45 p.m. at Northeast Community Credit Union Ballpark in Elizabethton, the BGCECC will welcome and celebrate those individuals whose lives have been touched by the Club and all it stands for —enabling young people to achieve great futures as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
If you ever attended the Club in the summer, after school or participated in any of the Club’s athletic events, you are invited.
“The Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County is excited to honor our Club Alumni,” said Tiffany Judd, Resource Development and Marketing Director for the local Club. “Please join us as our guests, enjoy meeting up with old friends and making new ones, all while watching the Elizabethton River Riders take on the Johnson City Doughboys.”
Club Alumni and Board Member, Danny Smith, will throw out the first pitch at the game. The National Anthem will be sung by Club member, Baylee Hamm. Reserved seating will be available for alumni, so save your seat by contacting Judd at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 423-543-2946 for more information and tickets.
