DeWitt Alexander Hurst Jr., 74, of Elizabethton, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021, at Johnson City Medical Center.
He was a native of Rock Hill, S.C., and a son of the late DeWitt Sr. and Fredrica Duncan Hurst.
DeWitt was a proud U.S. Marine, serving his country in Vietnam.
He will be rendered honors and laid to rest at Mountain Home National Cemetery Annex, Lake Drive West, at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 1.
