Carson and Marsha Shepherd are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 31, 2021.
They were married July 31, 1971 at the Upper Shell Creek Christian Church. The wedding was performed by Minister Roy Huskins.
Carson is retired from Snap-on Tools. Marsha continues to work at Cannon Memorial Hospital in Linville, N.C.
The couple are the parents of two daughters, April (Terry) Winters and Lindsay (Trevor) Austin. They are the grandparents of Kelsie and Kinley Winters and Brady and Connor Austin.
A trip in June to Myrtle Beach with family and friends marked the occasion.
