Della Ruth Nave Duvall, 79, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 6, 2021, at NHC Healthcare of Johnson City following a courageous battle with Alzheimers. Della was born in Carter County to the late Worley Milburn Nave and Bonnie Stout Nave.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Duvall; two brothers, Worley Nave Jr. and Robert “Jim” Nave; and two sisters, Joann Rash and Dorothy Lett.
Della retired from North American Rayon Corporation and had farmed all of her life in Carter County. She was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church and a beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to honor the life of Della Ruth Nave Duvall will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday. Online condolences may be shared with the family on our website, www.tetrickfuneralhome.com
