Holston Baptist sponsors missions fair, conference

The Holston Baptist Association will sponsor a missions conference and fair Sept. 19 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Heritage Baptist Church, 1512 John Exum Parkway, Johnson City.
The missions fair will be held from 3 to 3:55 p.m. followed by worship and missions presentations from 3:55 to 5:50 p.m.
Evening worship is from 5:50 to 6:40 p.m. followed by dinner and the missions fair from 6:45 to 8 p.m. The meal will be prepared by Heritage Baptist Seniors.
The evening’s events will feature music by ETSU’s BCM Worship Band.
Featured speakers include Russ Mehan of Wycliffe Bible Translators; Guy Frederick, AMS of Bay Lakes Baptist Association in Sheboygan, Wis.; Nate Vedoya, NAMB Church Planter in Edmondton, Canada; and Rusty Ford, IMB Missionary to Seville, Spain.
Pam Parker, officer manager for Holston Baptist Association, said the invitation to the missions fair and conference is extended to churches outside of the Holston Association as well. “The goal is to inspire churches to get involved and form partnerships with those serving in different areas of the world,” she said.
