According to Chief Deputy Leighta Laitinen, Late Tuesday night, deputies responded to a shooting on Ted Brown Rd. At about 10:46 pm, 911 calls were received stating that a male subject had been shot. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
 
Following numerous interviews, Investigators have secured arrest warrants against the shooter who was determined to be Brantley A. Freshour, age 24, last known address of 1147 W Irish St., Greeneville. The warrant charges Freshour with one count of Aggravated Assault. His whereabouts are unknown at this time.
 
The investigation remains ongoing and additional charges are possible. Anyone with information on the case or the whereabouts of Freshour is asked to contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office CID Division at 423-788-1414.
