Benfield, Witten selected as Coaches of the Week

After their teams pulled off big wins last week against teams that came from a larger classification, Cloudland head coach Zac Benfield and Elizabethton’s Shawn Witten were recognized as the Coach of the Week by the Tennessee Football Coaches Association.
Benfield earned the honor for Class 1A through 3A while Witten was selected for Class 4A through 6A.
Cloudland beat Unicoi County 28-0 who was undefeated in Class 3A and ranked sixth in the Prep Polls while the Cyclones took care of Class 5A Rhea County who came into the game at 5-1 and ranked ninth in Class 5A in the state by a 41-21 score.
