The City of Elizabethton is in the process of resurfacing and doing ancillary construction work in the East Side community. The work, which began Wednesday, includes Siam Road from East Side Elementary School to Pearl Street and also on E. F Street from Sycamore Street to Armed Forces Drive.
Construction is expected to be completed by Oct. 22. The work is being done by Summers-Taylor Construction Co.
Motorists are advised to use caution when driving in work zones.
