Ruby Martine Bradshaw, 86, went to her heavenly home on October 16, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Ross and Lucy Bowers-Berry. Ruby loved to oil paint, crochet and work in her flowers. She was a member of Southside Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Bud” Bradshaw; a son, Timmy Blevins; a sister, Pauline Arnold; and a brother, Jack Berry.
Those left to cherish her memories include two sons, Bobby (Cathy) Blevins of Elizabethton and Mark (Arlene) Blevins of Elizabethton; three daughters, Bertha (Frankie) Davis of Elizabethton, Sonja Blevins of Elizabethton and Leshea Clark of Sevierville; eight grandchildren, Jody Blevins, Tracy Blevins-Wilson, Misty Gilliam, Kimberly Clark, Shane Robinson, Bobbie Renea Blevins-Frazier, Katie Blevins and Mollie Blevins; nine great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Betty White of Elizabethton, Margaret Davis of Elizabethton and Marie (Danna Earl) Carden of Elizabethton.
A service to celebrate the life of Ruby Martine Bradshaw will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Pastor Jeremy Burleson and Pastor Steve Burleson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service, or at the residence at any time. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 21, in the Pearl Bowers Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Little Mark Blevins, Matthew Wilson, Wayne Arnold, Brian Carden, Waco Davis and Allen Richardson. Honorary pallbearers will be Curtis Newman, Frankie Davis, Donnie Arnold and her grandsons. Everyone will meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, at 10:15 a.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
