The Carter County Health Department will offer a free drive-thru flu shot clinic on Nov. 9 at the Workforce Development Complex (located off Highway 91 in the Great Lakes building across from the Elizabethton Municipal Airport.)
The drive-thru will be set up behind the building in the same location they are currently doing COVID testing and vaccines. The flu shot event is available to all Carter County residents. The time of the clinic is from 2 to 5 p.m.
The event will take the place of the flu shot clinics the health department offered at the schools last year.
