Wanda F. Clawson, 53, Butler, unexpectedly left this world to be with the Lord on October 23, 2021. She was a very loved wife and mother who spent her time reading, sewing, listening to her wind chimes and loving on her dog, her baby Boogie.
Wanda was a graduate of Hampton High School.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Culbert, and sister, Betty Huff.
Those left to cherish her memory is her spouse of 32 years, Jim Clawson; a daughter, Patricia Clawson and fiancé Dustin Richards; and her sons, James Clawson, Jonathan (Jen) Williams and Danny (Shawna) Williams. She left behind five granddaughters and a new grandson whom she loved with everything in her; her father, Paul Tolley and step-mother, Louise; a sister, Elizabeth Tolley; and a brother, David Tolley. Others left to cherish her memory are her “Soul Sisters,” Barbara Phillips, Cathy Kent and Edith Guy; her brother, Marvin Clawson; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Stevie Guinn officiating. Interment will follow in the Lyons Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Kent, Johnathon Kent, Jim Clawson, James Clawson, Jeremy Anderson, Lester Rainbolt, Dustin Richards, Chris Flannery, Tim Williams and Garret Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Tipton, Nick Tipton, Bearl Campbell, Marvin Clawson, Otis Griffey, Tony Griffey, Dylan Holtsclaw, Dalton Holtsclaw and Charlie Phillips.
