Schedule of activities at the Elizabethton Senior Center for the week of December 13-17:
HOURS: Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.; Friday: 8 a.m. – noon.
The billiard room and fitness room are open and no appointments necessary.
Monday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Lunch — Salisbury Steak, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, 12:15-1:15 p.m., with Instructor, Shirley Gomillian, $3; Gentle-flow Yoga, 1:30-2:30 p.m., with Instructor, Carrie Maggard, $3.
Tuesday: My Plate, 10 a.m., with Lacie Young, UT Extension — Join us for a FREE 2-part series with topics that include: Meal Planning and Budgeting, Physical Activity, and the Five Food Groups. At each class you will receive handouts and simple recipes to enjoy; Lunch — Spaghetti/Meat Sauce, 11 a.m.; Shopping at Wal-Mart, 12-1 p.m. Please call the Center to schedule a ride; Line Dancing, 12-1 p.m., with Instructor, Sharon Pilk, $3; Dancercise, 1-2 p.m., with Instructor, Sharon Pilk, $3.
Wednesday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Lunch — Soup Beans/Cornbread, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, 12:15-1:15 p.m., with Instructor, Shirley Gomillian, $3; Gentle-flow Yoga, 1:30-2:30 p.m., with Instructor, Carrie Maggard, $3.
Thursday: Lunch — Oven Fried Chicken Breast, 11 a.m.
Friday: Just Keep Movin’ — Cardio, Toning, Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Lunch — Egg Patty,
