To the Editor:
As we reflect on 2021, the Keep Carter County Beautiful Board wishes to express our profound gratitude for the support and participation you provide to our organization. We thank the volunteers and donors who contributed to our many events. We are thankful for the financial and resource commitment of the Carter County Mayor & Commissioners, City of Elizabethton Mayor, City Council, and the leaders in the Elizabethton Chamber of Commerce, Elizabethton Departments of Streets & Sanitation, Parks & Recreation, both County and City Schools, Carter County Landfill and the US Forest Service. We extend our thanks to the local partners who have collaborated with us to better our community. We also thank the Tennessee Department of Transportation, Keep Tennessee Beautiful, and Keep America Beautiful who provide resources and assistance to make our success possible.
We had remarkable success this year with our events and partnerships. With your support our grassroots organization has grown to touch many of our surrounding communities. With the addition of our new website www.kccbtn.org we are providing valuable information and communication to our partners and volunteers. The support you provided helped us to be the change that is positively impacting Northeastern Tennessee. We celebrate all the contributors, which have allowed us to thrive and excel. Your involvement displays a sincere dedication to improving our region.
Each year end is a new beginning. It provides us with the opportunity to influence our community and rejuvenate our spirit of commitment. We will continue to reach out to our community leaders & residents, and to partner with others to emphasize our passion for keeping our environment and waterways beautiful. We will continue to demonstrate our commitment to expand our mission to recycle, reuse, clean up, educate, awareness programs and beautify our communities. Our efforts are continuous, and we have great hope and expectations for 2022. We hope that you will join us in the endeavor.
We wish you, your family, friends and our community, a blessed holiday season. May your Christmas and the New Year be filled with joy, prosperity, and good health. Thank you once again for being a part of our success.
