ETSU-Western Carolina men’s basketball game postponed

JOHNSON CITY – The Southern Conference men’s basketball game between ETSU and Western Carolina, scheduled to take place inside Freedom Hall on Saturday, Jan. 1, at 4 p.m., has been postponed due to positive COVID tests and quarantine requirements within Western Carolina’s program.

The conference office will attempt to reschedule the game.

Tickets for Saturday’s game will be honored for the rescheduled date.

The Bucs open SoCon play Thursday night at Chattanooga. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside McKenzie Arena and will be televised on ESPNU. ETSU’s home SoCon opener is set for Wednesday, Jan. 5 against VMI.
