Charlene “Sissy” Hicks Matherly, 59, of Elizabethton, Tenn., was escorted by God’s Angels to be with him on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
Sissy joins her parents, William Hicks and Elizabeth Chandler Hicks, and her brother, James Hicks, on God’s streets of gold.
She left behind her two brothers, Leland “Bud” Hicks and wife Robin and Charles “Bubbles” Hicks and wife Anne; a sister, Teena Berry; and several nieces and nephews.
