Vernon C. “Mousey” Riddle, 72, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late George C. and Irene Bailey Riddle.
Vernon was employed as a Security Guard. He attended Zion Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry “Mo” Riddle and Cobb Riddle.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah White Riddle; one daughter, Heather Riddle of Arkansas; two step-daughters, Ellen Nelson and husband David and Crystal Moore; grandchildren; and one sister, Phyllis Riddle Bowers Czuchry.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 3, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Dr. Alan King officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park.
