Patricia Diane Pangburn, devoted mom and mommom, passed away at the age of 69 on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Patricia was born in Schenectady, N.Y., on August 27, 1952 and had grown up in West Virginia. She spent most of her life in New Jersey before moving to Elizabethton.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father and mother, Roy Wiggins and Dora Belle (Fagan) Ward; her beloved husband, John Pangburn Jr.; her son, Roy Edward Wiggins; four brothers and three sisters.
Patricia was co-owner and operator of JP Fence Company and enjoyed camping, music, reading, her pets and traveling. She was and will forever be her daughter’s and granddaughters’ best friend and partner in crime.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Judith and son-in-law, Arthur Parvin Jr. of Elizabethton; her granddaughters, Shyra Calhoun of Elizabethton and Adrienne Bott (Jayden) of Morgan, Utah; her grand-dog, Luna Fraya and her furbabies, Buttons and Roxanne; and her sister, Carmen Riggins of Millville, N.J. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
It was Patricia’s wish to be cremated and no services are currently scheduled. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Shriners.
