Bobby Joe Richardson, 75, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his residence.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Roy and Beulah Finney Richardson.
Bobby Joe loved to fox hunt, go fishing and raise chickens. He was a member of Unaka Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Patsy Williams, of the home, and Pamela Martin and husband Lee, Elizabethton; one brother, Dr. James Richardson and wife Judy, Elizabethton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, February 13, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with his brother, Dr. James Richardson, and Rev. Troy Davis officiating. The graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 14, in the Garland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Monday.
