Doe River Baptist
Doe River Baptist Church, 113 Avon St., will have its monthly food pantry Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 6 p.m.
Those in need of food are invited to attend.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 W. F St., will have both an online and in-person worship service Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship hour.
Amber Athon will present the message.
Adult Forum, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays with Jesus will meet online this week. Youth will meet in person.
Music School this week
The 44th Annual Watauga Association of Baptist Music School will begin Monday with sessions Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Sessions will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. each day.
The director of the school is Scott Shepherd, Tennessee Worship Leader, and the music for the week is “God So Loved the World” by Dennis and Nan Allen.
The orchestra will be directed by Shepherd and David Whaley. Instruments are invited to join in the week of worship, but need to have at least two years of experience.
The music school will be held at Grace Baptist Church and will culminate in a concert Friday at 7 p.m.
